Bailey Alexander was born in Santa Rosa, California and raised in Seattle. In 2002 she and her husband Francis sailed across the Atlantic aboard their 43 Nauticat with two small dogs named Colette and Godot. They enjoyed a nomadic lifestyle in Europe in places like Paris, Rome, Geneva and Prague. Formerly an adventuress she now lives happily on Lake Garda in northern Italy with their next generation of papillons; Gigi and Gastone. Bailey and Francis have a podcast called "A Couple of Europhiles' and she continues to document her life through writing and photography. She also hosts the "Life is a Detective Novel" podcast, where she discusses her novel "Personal Legends of Piemonte" bringing to light insights on the lives and lessons of this quiet region, focused on excellence.
